Global ecommerce markets are growing extensively, and for the online based small businesses this represents an opportunity to put a great ecommerce retail site or excellent products into the hands of global customers. By creating a global market presence, small businesses can enlarge their operations, increase sales and keep competition at bay in other parts of the world. E-commerce trends are also leaving a crash on markets and merchant. As it makes easy the consumer’s ability to gather more information about products and prices, e-commerce will lead to make stronger price competition. As the better compact have grown at the cost of smaller ones, as they are able to balance economies and offer lower prices.

With advanced internet technology overcoming problems with reliability and speed, it is expected to be used in almost every conceivable way in marketing and commerce. Global e-commerce trends are making way for new supply and demand aggregation services, leading markets in directions that were not possible before the dawn of the Internet. New e-commerce trends are lowering communications costs and also reduce marketing and sales time. Delivering all types of information in digital format at low cost offers important efficiencies that firms can pass on to customers at lower prices. Managing supply chains for goods and services in cross-bordertrade also cuts down any overheads associated with marketing, transport and distribution. Different types of e-commerce models exist among various groups. As e-commerce means trading over the internet, one cannot confine the work of commerce by electronic means only to certain groups. Several types of e-commerce concentrate on business substitutes involving goods and services between various corporations. Opposing to well accept belief, e-commerce is not just on the Web. In addition to the big challenge of localization for penetrating global markets, there are also specific concerns for online retails who want to open their storefront to global customers. Payments, returns, and customer support are only a few of the ecommerce business processes that need to be adjusted for different markets.

Be Online

Get Smart or Pay Later

Provide to Local taste

Know the Global Rules When it comes to Shipping

Make Payments Easy

“E-commerce is an evolution” By using electronic technology through the internet, it achieved More competitions, more marketplaces, faster transactions, and more advanced technology to make activities between customers and producers more active. We as customers and internet users are responsible to keep our e-commerce healthy and safe so that e-business can be more reliable in the future. When you go beyond borders, the possibilities are endless. You should continue to ask questions to be best informed and know if your business is suited for the extended role.

When we create Art or Digital Design, we hold the copyright, which is our special right as the author to hold that work. We have power over who else is able to use our work. The things that are copyright are referred to as intellectual property Act.

When we talk about copyright. First we want to know clear idea about copyright & we should able to answer to “What is copy right?

Copyright: Rights given by law to the creators for their literary & artistic works. There are two forms

Economic rights: include the right to reproduce, sell, rent, distribute, communicate to the public, translate etc

replicated Cover the right to claim the authorship and oppose distortion or mutilation of the work.

Why protected

Copyright protects the rights of the authors of literary and artistic works and ensures them the economic benefits and recognition thereby promoting creativity in literary and artistic fields and investment. Such creations enhances economic development, education, culture, and enjoyment of life

What is covered

Copyright covers original literary and artistic works: writings such as books, computer programs, articles, oral works such as speeches and lectures, dramas, musical works, films, drawings, paintings and photographs. The woks such as databases and translations are also protected.

Who owns

The author is the owner of economic rights but there are some exceptions such as a work created by an employee generally belongs to the employer. The economic rights can be assigned or licensed. The moral rights always belong to the author.

Duration

Copyright in Sri Lanka is generally protected during the life of the author and 70 years after his death.

Administration

You can administer your right individually. Alternatively, the owners can administer their rights collectively. The collective administration means that the owners form an organization which acts on their behalf in licensing the rights, collecting fees, monitoring use and infringement of rights and enforcement of rights.

Protection abroad

the woks of Sri Lankan authors are protected in all the member countries of the Berne Convention for the protection of literary and artistic works under the national law of the particular country.

Be smart in your Artistic works with a copyright. Copyright laws are extremely complex, but this should be a good begin. This is the powerful energy behind the success of artistic works. However, technological innovation will continue to challenge the effectiveness of copyright law enforcement today and in the future.

Since the beginning of the web, designers have been restricted to a limited number of fonts. Fonts are very useful for a designer. Only if you would take into concern the typography mania and you have a great argument for the intelligent use of fonts. The web safe fonts seem boring at a certain moment. Other web technologies you can insert any font you want in a website and you can give the site a more interesting style. The importance of typography in design can’t be underestimating. The right choice of fonts can really help to deliver the message in a more direct and suitable way in your site.

Typography and font selection are integral elements of any designers cache to create the look and ‘feel’ of a website. Unfortunately since the beginning of the web, designers have been restricted to a limited number of fonts. Helvetica, Arial and Georgia are three of the very few appealing fonts (not to forget Comic Sans) that designers can safely rely on to be present correctly for the majority of web users. The traditional method for designers to avoid such limitations and say creativity with fonts.

The reality is though the position is rarely perfect in the world of web design, there will always be concession and work-around required to implement new technologies. Rightness is not worth waiting for, if you do, your risk missing out on exciting new opportunity.

This is truly a thrilling time for web design, and there appears to be a growing admiration and understanding of Typography on the web. The possibilities of design on the web seem to be increasing day by day. The application of technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript has resulted in many exciting and innovative website designs. This article will talk about some of different exciting methods.

Google Fonts API

Google’s Font API is used in conjunction with their very own font directory in which all of the fonts are open source and available for all to use. The directory is expanding and growing all the time,
It really couldn’t be easier to incorporate fonts from the directory into your website. You simply need to select the font you wish to use, select the variants of the font you require and Google will provide you with the one line of JavaScript code you need. Adjust your CSS to list the font used and you’re ready to go. It really is that simple!

Type kit

Type kit was one of the first subscription web font services and still remains hugely popular. This method allows the font foundries to receive something in return for their hard work and also ensures against piracy of fonts as all of the fonts are hosted centrally on Type kit’s protected servers. Users of the service are not hosting the fonts on their own web space but are simply linking to them.

Fonts.com Web Fonts

The popular font resource fonts.com has also launched a specialized web font service, Similarly to Type kit. In comparison with Type kit, it does work out more expensive but there are far fewer restrictions on the fonts. The free package compares very favorably, giving unlimited access to 8000 fonts for you to use on as many web sites as you wish. The Professional package also allows you up to 50 fonts to download and install on your computer to use in your designs.

Cufón

Cufón is an incredibly simple and effective method for incorporating non-standard fonts into a web page and one in which its functionality is not dependant on server-side languages or plug-ins. Cufón operates solely on a few lines of JavaScript code and uses combination of VML (Vector Mark-up Language), for Internet Explorer, and HTML5’s Canvas feature to render the fonts.
Cufón provides a font converter tool on their homepage that will allow you to convert your chosen font to SVG and creates a JavaScript file for you to reference within your HTML. Nettuts+ editor Jeffrey Way has previously written an excellent step-by-step tutorial of how to integrate Cufón into your webpage.

Being a designer or a developer isn’t your average work as it is constantly developing, giving you new tools to either become more dynamic or to simply create better work. Podcasts is an engaging way of learning new techniques or staying up to date with what other designers. We often read books, refresh our skills with tutorials, subscribe to blogs and even attend conferences but we most of us still overlook one medium It is an engaging standard that is available in both audio and video formats. Podcasts often refer to audio casts, but now with iPods and other media players being able to play video, video casts are just as popular. A handful of web design podcasters convey both audio and video formats.

Most designers and developers track at least a few blogs from the design industry, but podcasts and video podcasts offer even more opportunities for learning and for staying up-to-date in the industry. As web developers, always trying to get better at what they do. One of the best ways to do that is to listen to what other developers have to share.

Find out what your customers think and figure out the products that they need. Also, think about the latest trends and which products sell best at present. With Pinterest’s live feed, you will have an accurate update about what your customers think and need at the moment.

Social media represents low-cost tools that are used to combine technology and social interaction with the use of words. These tools are typically internet or mobile based. Social media gives marketers a voice and a way to communicate with peers, clients and potential consumers. It personalizes the “brand” and helps you to spread your message in a relaxed and conversational way. The downfall to social media, if you could call it that is that it must be a part of your everyday life in order to keep the impetus and attention you need for it to be successful.

Before you can begin to connect with people via social media, you have to first understand who those people are. You should know your audience familiarly and understand who they are, what motivates them, what frustrate them, and what their needs are. These key elements will help you develop and share content that appeals to them.

One of the major complaints I hear about social media is that it takes too much time, which leaves a lot of people either ignore it altogether or trying to work it into their schedules when suitable. But an contradictory effort leads to inconsistent results. If you were to commit to engaging with your social media networks on a steady basis, you could discover a fantastic return on your time investment, and you’d realize it should be a top main concern.

Not anything you do in life will produce great results if you aren’t fully committed. And the truth is that social media can be managed for most small businesses in under an hour per day. If you set realistic goals, develop content that appeals to your target audience, and consistently engage with your networks, you will begin to understand the real value that social media can bring to your business.

If social media is just another item you feel you have to do each day and you resent it, that’s going to come across with your audience. The people and companies that are doing well with social media are the ones who embrace it and enjoy it. Imagine if you treated your clients like they were simply an obligation—they would certainly notice. Find a way to see the value and the fun in social media and allow that to shine through.

If you aren’t respond to your audience, appreciating them, and responding to their questions, then they will go elsewhere. Also, it’s not just about broadcasting your message. Imagine if everyone in social media sent a shout out to recommend just one small business each day!

Some businesses are they say that not ready to join the social media revolution, and would be better served with just a website. It is a very big effort to take in Social Media marketing
